As a 4th generation native son of St.Helena, Mario Roam Sculatti started the adventure of Roam Cellars. His mentor, Denis Malbec, brought a truly classical style from Chateau Latour in Bordeaux to the wines. Being a Napa native, Mario knows the bountiful meadows, hills, and riverbanks of the region. Mount St.Helena or as by the Wappo called “Kanamota”, an iconic towering volcano located in the north of Napa Valley, was a special landmark seen almost everywhere in the valley.
